Into the future with fascination

WEBER celebrates 75 years of moulding ideas

On 1 February 1949, Josef Weber founded ‘Josef Weber KG’ in Dillenburg. As a true pioneer, he began developing and manufacturing highly heat-resistant stove and boiler putty, thus conquering the domestic cooker and oven market. Within a few years, he was the market leader with his wezi-lit sealing compounds. For decades, the WEBER Group was also known as ‘Kitt-Weber’ in the region around Dillenburg (Hesse). WEBER can now do much more!

Today, 75 years later, the WEBER Group is still an independent family business in its 4th generation. It is a stable, globally active group of companies with 1,500 employees at four locations worldwide. As a highly successful development supplier for sophisticated, injection-moulded plastic solutions in the automotive, household and heating appliance and toy sectors, WEBER is looking to the future with fascination!

"We look back on these decades with great gratitude! The fact that a family business has managed to grow successfully over three generations and hold its own in the global market, and has successfully overcome crises at all times, is not something to be taken for granted. At all times, this has required special people who have fascinated our customers with their pioneering spirit and wealth of ideas. And this applies to all our locations in Germany, Poland and China," summarise Dr Thomas Zipp, Partner and Chairman of the Advisory Board, and Andreas Becker, CEO.

Happy Birthday, WEBER Group! Into the future with fascination!
